Cover An Old Book With A New Look - Part 1 & 2

Hey Creative Crafters! This weeks project has 2 parts. The first part I took a soft cover book that I no longer was going to read and made it into a hard cover book. Next weeks project will be part 2 and a bit of a lengthy in the process.  I wanted to prepare you a head of time for the length of time it is going to take so you don't get frustrated. You can use any size book you want, it doesn't matter the size or number of                    pages. You can also use one of your favorite books that you don't mind                                          covering the front and back cover. Watch both videos for part 1 of the project. What To Do With Craft Wood

What To Do With Craft Wood Hey Creative Crafters! It's good to be back in the groove of crafting again. I can't wait for you to see this weeks project. We just had Easter this past Sunday, so I thought I would make a bunny project made from craft wood. The bottom is a wooden spool painted white and the head is a round wooden ball with a little bit cut off on the bottom to make it stand flat. I also used ribbon, felt, string, pom-poms (for the tail) and stickers for the face. Hope you have fun making this project, I did! It's OK To Fail

I was working on this weeks project....but it was a fail. I am still trying to get the hang of the sewing thing, reading patterns, making material line up properly. So I wanted to post today to let you know that it is ok to fail. It doesn't mean you are less of a person. Like the saying above says "if you don't fail, you don't learn". Quick story: When I graduated from High School I had enough credits to walk the line with my friends, but according to the State of CA, I hadn't passed their state proficiency test. I had about 3-4 more sections to pass and then I could get my diploma. The sections mostly covered reading and comprehension. For the next 9 years after I graduated I would go to the school district take the test...sometimes passing one section, sometimes not passing any sections. By the 9th time I took it I think I only had 2 sections to pass. One day I went in, sat down in a room like I had 8 other times and took the test on the sections I need

Hello! I'm Still Here

Hey Creative Crafters! Sorry I have been away for a couple of weeks. My family was going through some personal stuff that needed my attention.  I think I am ready to post again. I am back to working on the project I was going to post and will have it for you this Friday, 4.12.19. See you then!
